CONCORD 3000 donated a humanitarian aid to the Heart Institute

One of the most important directions of the Foundation's work is rendering aid to medical establishments. This time a charitable cargo arrived to the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Kyiv).

More than 6000 heart surgeries are performed in this medical institution annually, and more than 100000 diagnostic examinations of the cardiovascular system are conducted.

The other day cardiac surgeon and Director of the Heart Institute Borys Todurov performed a very complicated surgery with the the heart of a Ukrainian military man and removed a shell fragment from the heart, which was still beating during the whole operation!

Thanks to our partners from the American  Foundation Baranova27, the institute received the necessary materials, hygiene products, baby food, diapers for young and adult patients, and other necessary items.

Earlier the CONCORD 3000 aid was sent to the Central Clinical Hospital of the State Border Service of Ukraine (Kyiv), the Filatov Institute (Odesa), and medical workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Also, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Renaissance Foundation, humanitarian aid was delivered to one of the hospitals in Vinnytsia.
